How kind of the weather man to turn on a very pleasant temperature and conditions for us all to run around in tonight! Despite the predictions of cyclones (which may have kept some of you tucked up at home) theconditions genuinely were very pleasant for orienteering in - still warm but not suffocating. Thanks to Rob and Mervyn for the courses tonight.While most of us have been off holidaying they have had to be working to prepare tonight's event. It was a nice gentle break back into orienteering after what for many has been a lazy last few weeks.
It was great to see the large number of people there getting in some serious training before the 'Sprint the Bays' weekend in the Hawkes Bay. All the best to you all. Have a great weekend, go well and drive carefully.
Next week SummerNav is again on TUESDAY, 25th January, starting in the Sacred Heart College grounds, West Tamaki Rd, Glendowie. Entry will be via the most eastern gate - the one closest to Roberta Avenue. Registration will be located in the car park down by the swimming pool. The longer courses will also visit some of the surrounding park areas. We look forward to seeing you there!
