Summer Series Results from Ambury Park

The afternoon showers were brief and by the time we started we had clear star filled skies for the night SummerNav event at Ambury Regional Park. Thanks to Jen and Pete for tonight's courses. The courses offered a great opportunity to practice for next weekends Katoa Po Club Night Relays competition in Taupo. Orienteering at night certainly does add interesting challenges to navigation! The Course one map for the event didn't show the location of any of the fences or water troughs in addition to challenging control locations. Several people camped over at the campground and enjoyed a clear night, sunny morning, and the super surroundings.
