Great to see you all back and keen to go into the 2018 SummerNav orienteering with enthusium. It was a wonderful turnout on a hot but lovely evening. With a maze and a micro O area there was something to test everyone. There were many complementary comments so it appears that a break from the ordinary is worth doing. These special areas caused a number of people a real problem and almost everyone else had to slow way down to get it right. If you had troubles - you weren't alone. We made a couple of mistakes that could have helped. We should have made it very clear that on the micro map the green circles were trees and the control circles had a dot in the middle to show which side of the tree to find the control. Had we covered the control numbers it would have been less confusing too.
Thanks to all the on-the-day helpers. This event required a number of Club members to lend a hand. We very much appreciate your help.
