Summer Series Results from Sacred Heart College 11/4/2015
I am not sure we have managed to get ourselves on side with the weather gods this year yet – it was a little hard to believe it was SUMMERnav as the wind roared across the car park tonight but thankfully the rain almost stayed away so it was a good night for a winter run. Thanks to Bruce and Panda for the courses – Panda made sure that there were some controls on the longer courses around the coast and in the parks as she thinks that is rather more fun for a dog! However, hopefully, the rest of you also enjoyed a taste of sprint orienteering around the buildings of the 2 schools. Our thanks to Sacred Heart and Glendowie College for allowing us the use of their great grounds.
Next week we move out west to the Western Springs map, starting from the Zoo carpark in Motions Rd. At this time of the year Western Springs should be busy with lots of baby ducks, goslings and cygnets so a lovely place to visit and take a picnic dinner to enjoy after your run (surely we are due a fine night!).
